When assessing applications, we take into account the volume and value of grants awarded in each area relative to our presence in those communities.

Giving the North East community a helping hand
We try to achieve a balance between our presence in an area and the amount of funding awarded there.
Currently, projects delivering in North and South East Northumberland as well as County Durham are higher priority funding areas.
North Tyneside and Hartlepool are medium priority funding areas.
Projects primarily active in West Northumberland, Newcastle, Gateshead, South Tyneside, Sunderland, Darlington, Middlesbrough, Stockton & Redcar will be considered lower priority for funding.
