This policy sets out our approach to undertaking the assessment of clients’ needs and develop their support plans. It applies to all families residing in the Family Wraparound Service (Ashkirk).

Antisocial Behaviour Policy

Everyone has the right to enjoy their home and to live the way that they choose, providing it does not affect the quality of life of others. This policy will ensure that we adopt a victim-centred approach to tackling ASB that is fair, transparent and proportionate.

Community Investment Fund Policy

This policy ensures that the Community Investment Fund budget is allocated in line with Bernicia objectives and priorities, and that funding criteria considers applications from Bernicia residents, community groups, charities, voluntary organisations and partner agencies.

Fencing Policy

This policy covers how we deal with requests for enclosing open plan spaces, day to day repairs and requests for dividing or boundary fencing.

CCTV Policy

Bernicia routinely captures images of people using Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) to provide a safe and secure environment for tenants, colleagues and visitors, and also to protect the company’s property.

This policy sets out the accepted use and management of CCTV equipment in line with the Information Commissioner’s CCTV Code of Practice to ensure that Bernicia complies with data protection legislation.

Estates Management Policy

This policy outlines how we aim to provide good quality, value for money estate services that ensure the environment under our control provides attractive, well maintained, safe and secure places to live. In doing so we will comply with all relevant legislation, regulatory codes and guidance.
