Avril has been part of Bernicia’s board since 2018 having recently retired as Chief Executive of The Northern Learning Trust and has considerable knowledge of the voluntary sector and community development. She Chair’s Bernicia’s Customer Services Committee and has been Chair of the Bernicia Foundation since September 2021
